Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP is obtained from cooked must of Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes from the province of Modena. The slow fermentation and long maturation in barrels of different woods are the only processes that make this balsamic vinegar possible and only in this way can it be recognized as a DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) product.

The product maintains its characteristics unchanged if stored in a cool, dry place.

Extra virgin olive oil has no real expiry date. We recommend consuming it within 12-18 months from the bottling date. However, correct storage of the oil helps to maintain its qualities for longer. Here are some tips:

  • Temperature: Store the oil away from heat sources in environments between 10 and 20 degrees. Do not store it in the refrigerator.
  • Closing: always keep the container hermetically closed. Prolonged opening facilitates oxidation and absorption of foreign odors. Keep the oil away from detergents or hygiene products.
  • Light: Store the oil in the dark to protect it from sunlight and prevent oxidation.
